Terms of Service

By accessing or using KovaChatBots (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These terms apply to all users, including visitors, registered accounts, and paying customers.

KovaChatBots provides AI-powered chatbot software that allows businesses to create, train, and embed chatbots on their websites. The Service is operated by a student startup team based in Canada.

You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You may not use the Service if you are under 18 years of age.

Plans: The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Current plan pricing is available on our pricing page.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payment is processed by Stripe.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your access will continue until the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time.

Refunds: We offer a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase if you are not satisfied. Contact us at kova.founders@gmail.com to request a refund.

Price changes: We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Distribute spam, malware, or harmful content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Collect user data without consent
• Engage in deceptive or misleading practices
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

You retain ownership of any content you upload to train your chatbot (FAQs, documents, knowledge base). By uploading content, you grant KovaChatBots a limited license to process and store it solely to provide the Service.

You are solely responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on any third-party rights.

All software, design, and branding of KovaChatBots is owned by us. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.

The “Powered by Kova” badge displayed on chatbots in the Starter plan may not be removed or obscured.

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for downtime caused by hosting providers, third-party services, or factors outside our control.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KovaChatBots and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that AI-generated responses will be accurate or error-free.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Canada.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email of material changes. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
